Codat (Series C)

How much: AUD$138.m (USD$100m)

Participants: led by JP Morgan Growth Equity Partners

The company has raised over $160M to date from investors including JP Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Canapi Ventures, Shopify, Plaid, Tiger Global, PayPal Ventures, Index Ventures and American Express Ventures. 

Codat is the universal API for small business data. The real-time connectivity that Codat provides enables software providers and financial institutions to build integrated products for their small business customers.

Go1

How much: US$100M 

Participants: Participants in the round include AirTree Ventures, Blue Cloud Ventures, Five Sigma, Madrona, Salesforce Ventures, and SoftBank Vision Fund 2.

The round brings Go1’s total funding to over US$400M, increasing the company’s valuation to over US$2B. Go1 pulls the online learning providers into one place, delivering all the learning an organisation needs in a single solution.

 Inauro

How much: AU$3m

Participants: SafetyCulture 

Inauro was created to realise the value of IoT technology across industrial applications and improve everyday operations. 

SafetyCulture acquired microlearning business EdApp in 2020, led an AU$8 million Series A funding round for Unleash Live in 2021, and acquired lone worker safety app SHEQSY in early 2022.

Fergus (Series B)

How much: $15m

Participant: Led by Octopus Ventures

Fergus is a cloud-based, job management platform enabling end-to-end operations management for small to mid-sized trades businesses around the world.

VAPAR (Seed round)

How much: $2.5 million 

Participants: Backed by LSE-listed Halma Ventures and Australian Sprint Ventures, Access Capital Ventures and Barry Winata’s Metagrove Ventures. 

VAPAR offers CCTV pipe inspection software for sewer and stormwater pipes. The software is AI integrated for better results and accuracy.

Edrolo (Series B)

How much: $40 million

Participants: The round was led by Blackbird, supported by AirTree and retirement funds Aware Super, HESTA, NGS, and Telstra Super. 

Edrolo’s platform provides online learning resources for secondary and high school curricula, competitive exams and various other assessment tests

Azura Fashion Group announces crowdfunding campaign with Birchal

Azura Fashion Group is leading the social movement against waste and landfills in the fashion industry. 

Since its debut in 2019, the company claims to have grown by more than 200 per cent every year, and the funds will be used to fund additional circular fashion projects for the company. 

Azura has lately expanded its global presence through exclusive relationships with Farfetch, Net-a-Porter, Vestiaire Collective, and The ICONIC, a leading Australian store.
